Title: Community Therapeutic Healing

Project Description: Healing Programs continue to be the main focus for this project. Healing takes place on an individual, group, family, community levels. We have Survivors, their families and descendants, we seek individual in-depth therapy, which is on-going. We have Survivors and their families who visit us regularly and who support our projects. We network with other agencies, of whom also carry the Legacy of Residential Schools. Together, we hope to make the difference. The Youth is one of the major areas we are addressing with the help of AHF funding. Our two youth workers, one of whom is , have many recreational programs, sports programs, talking circles at the school, and other support group. The first task is to create an Advisory Committee of Survivors, workers and volunteers, who will be instrumental in creating this wonderful space.
